WHAT’S MOST SATISFIYING ABOUT BEING A HIDDEN FENCE PROFESSIONAL OF MELBOURNE VICTORIA?

I gain great satisfaction from being able to provide a solution to a problem that causes customers so much concern and frustration, due to the love they have for their pets. To provide peace of mind to owners, and a safe freedom to pets, which, until my intervention, have displayed bad behaviours by either escaping, or destruction and anti social behaviours related to being contained or tethered in small spaces.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE BREED OF DOG TO TRAIN TO AN ELECTRONIC DOG FENCE CONTAINMENT SYSTEM, AND WHY?

Well, I really love them all, and the different challenges they provide. However, to see a breed like a beagle, so renowned for their wandering, respond so well to the system after their owners have displayed much doubt, is wonderful. I also enjoy being able to stop a cat from wandering into harms way, when it is capable of many things a dog can not do, such as climbing trees.  

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE HIDDEN FENCE DOG CONTAINMENT SYSTEM TO USE IN THE FIELD, AND WHY?

Without doubt I prefer the PT4 performance system. Just the knowledge that you are using the best, most reliable system available gives me great confidence. Then, coupled with either a M7 with its tiny size, or the R9 with its great battery life, and durability.

DO YOU HAVE A GOOD STORY TO SHARE ABOUT CONTAINING A CUSTOMERS PET?

I think every job provides another great story. Whether its saving a pet from damaging a lovely garden, attacking the chooks or wildlife, bothering the neighbours, being impounded or given up, getting hit by a vehicle on a busy road or even being shot by a local farmer, every job and happy outcome is as important as the last.

WHAT’S THE HARDEST INSTALL YOU'VE ENCOUNTERED?

I did a 10 acre install on a beautiful property in the Mt Macedon area. As lovely as the property was it was very hilly, a lot of thick bush areas, and lots of hard, rocky ground. On top of all that it was for a pack of German Shorthaired Pointers who loved to go hunting for hours on end in the adjoining forest. Very tough, very rewarding
